Why was Bourne Park Capital
established?

Bourne Park Capital Ltd. was founded in 1999 by Dr. Wolfgang
Kerck, Dr. Rolf Wickenkamp and Claus Labes to take advantage of the developing interest amongst German and Austrian investors
in alternative investments, in particular hedge funds. The company was authorised by the Financial
Services Authority (FSA) in the UK in 2001. The combination of regulatory
constraints, the limited transparency of many hedge funds investments and
the lack of standard access to the most suitable products led BPC
to develop effective tools for advising institutional
investors on holding hedge fund investments. Today BPC has multi-product capability of most hedge funds sectors such as single and funds of funds as well as managed accounts and hedge fund replication solutions.
BPC's main office is based in London and employs a team of
eight professionals and benefits from a distinguished advisory board,
including well-known hedge fund academics and practitioners.
