Why was Bourne Park Capital
established?
Bourne Park Capital Ltd. was created in 1999 by its founders Dr. Wolfgang
Kerck, Dr. Rolf Wickenkamp and Claus Labes to take advantage of the
nascent and developing interest amongst German and Austrian investors
in alternative investments. The company was authorized by the Financial
Services Authority (FSA) in the UK in 2001. The combination of regulatory
constraints, the limited transparency of the hedge fund industry and
the lack of standard access to the best products available led BPC
to develop practical and effective means for advising institutional
investors on their hedge fund investment strategies. Today BPC provides
a full range of hedge fund investment related services for German,
Austrian and Swiss institutional investors, family offices and private
banks.
BPC has offices in London, Zurich and Bermuda employing a team of
ten professionals and benefits from a distinguished advisory board,
including well-known hedge fund academics and practitioners.
